About CDG: CDG stands for Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation. It is a rare genetic disorder that affects adding sugar building blocks to protein. This is needed for all processes of the body so there is a wide variety of how it affects the human body. May 16th is CDG Awareness Day which is why we chose this date for the fundraiser. Everyone wear green on May 16th! https://cdgcare.org
About The Bell Center: The Bell Center is an organization that provides quality early intervention for children from birth to 3 years old who have special needs and diagnoses. https://thebellcenter.org
About Us: Jared and Hannah Meads are the parents of Tucker and Bennett Meads, twin brothers born with CDG on August 4, 2020. They were diagnosed at 6 months old and spent the majority of their lives in the hospital. They both passed away a week after their first birthday; Tucker on August 10, 2021 and Bennett on August 11, 2021. Their short lives impacted SO many and we want to continue to honor them in any way we can.
